37Signals on why early retirement is a false idol..

Why does the idea of work have to be so bad that you want to sacrifice year’s worth of prime living to get away from it forever? The answer is that it doesn’t. Finding something you to love to work on seems to be a much more fruitful pursuit than trying to get away from the notion of work altogether.

Where the hell is Matt? He broke free in a rather unconventional way…

A couple years later, someone found the video online and passed it to someone else, who passed it to someone else, and so on. Now Matt is quasi-famous as “That guy who dances on the internet. No, not that guy. The other one. No, not him either. I’ll send you the link. It’s funny.”

According to Mark Cuban, “Do everything you can to avoid taking money.”

“Sweat equity is the best equity. Taking money from someone else kills more start-ups than anything else does. Do everything you can to avoid taking money. If you must, your best prospects are potential customers. You have something they want, so if they invest in you, it can be a win-win situation.”

      Want to share any details?

Also, perfect example of this (why you shouldn’t take money) is in Fortune magazine recently. The story shows how Tesla Motors (who have an awesome all electric sports car coming out) nearly tore itself apart over this exact issue. The guy who funded it ended up kicking out the founder. Hopefully they manage to recover…it looks like an awesome car.

I have seen that car on YouTube and you are right, it looks amazing!!! Fingers crossed that things go well and this will be made available to us soon!
The reason Cuban’s words hit home is because in the network marketing biz: so often people get involved financially because they see your success and want it for themselves. So often, in this type of business, once people pour money into what their friends or family have done, they are left high and dry. They were simply just enrolled. Those people have funded someone else’s business- period! However, when you take the time to sponsor those people, it was like they invested in you- your experience, your knowledge, your time, your commitment. The greatest win-win is that they have invested in themselves through you and success can be acheived on both ends!
I am not looking funding, I am looking for investors!
        Much Success To You,
