		<description>You're right I think it would take a while to build up.  It's one of those things where if its useful, it will spread on its own.  You'll get some early adopters first, then as they vote, etc it gains credibility.  Reaching the "tipping point" is probably the hardest part.</description>

		<description>Its a good idea but you have to be a really accepted authority to even consider starting something like this.  They already have ratings for most products (user's ratings) on e-commerce sites but the ratings depend on any random person who posts them.  
If you are an authority on something like phones, you are probably connected to one brand or another and you are either biased or only rate one company.
Any idea how you would become an accepted authority on a topic or something to be able to create this type of system?</description>
