Wonderful experiences that I learned in few minutes, which could have taken years for me to experience. Most of the books talk about success stories may be because everybody wants to become millionaire just by reading the book. Crazy! Authors & Publishers are minting the money out of human psychology.

Recently I read a book (famous one on human psychology) that generates business ideas perpetually without even talking about any business.

Great article and some wild ideas. There was a show that was on PBS called roadtrip nation that did the idea of interviews with not just millionaire but people in different jobs and how they got there. I think the idea was sound. Keep those ideas flowing and one is bound to hit. I remember when cable tv came out and I was young this guy said hey kid come to work here. My sad reply was,Who’s gonna pay for T.V.

Agreed…this is more of a retail business, which I think are always tough. But I’m sure it was a very valuable experience, you can think about how to make the next one even better! Keep going, one of them will work eventually if you try for long enough. You can keep changing your strategy along the way.

I’ve got a great idea for a PC repair shop, but the overhead is very high, (2000/month approx)

Because of that, I don’t think I’m going to make it, and its not even going yet.

Reason for failure:
I couldnt get past the fact that there’s no property thats suitable for a basic shop like i’m envisioning in the whole city and its metropolitan area. Overwhelmed by frustration and six months later, I find myself making promises I can’t keep.

When a process i thought would take 2 weeks turns into 6 months, emotions start to clouid your judgment.

TIP: If you want to rent a retail space, the landlord’s going to treat you like CRAP if you dont ask for a 3 year lease! even though that seems outrageous for an upstart business.
