Goode (with and e) Company -- Yikes! Where to begin! First of all, yummy food. Next, great atmosphere and historical decorations. Next, friendly people both customers and staff. You make friends sitting anywhere whether inside or outside at the picnic tables -- we are all family there. Next, you are part of history yourself as you mingle with the famous, both of yesteryear by way of photos etc. and the present. Next, you get to look at a house-sized armadillo next door. Next, it is centrally located at Kirby just south of the Southwest Freeway. Next, they purchase winning livestock at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. What's not to like? It is a Houston Tradition. I always bring my out-of-town guests there to indoctrinate them into the Texas way of life. Yum! Now I'm getting hungry and will dream about them all night...

Never been to Good Company BBQ. I guess after 10.5 years in Houston, I still haven't caught the whole BBQ thing. Will gladly eat it if meeting folks, but have never seen any of these restaurants as a "go to" spot when out to eat. What am
I missing?
