Interesting point. I think of GTD as getting more work done in less time and 4HWW as putting things on autopilot so you have less work.

Not necessarily conflicting goals but I still prefer 4HWW.

I’m not sure, GTD is fine in the E (elimination process, of the D.E.A. in 4HWW)

There is missing parts in GTD, you could find them in DIT, 4HWW or even ZTD (Zen To Done)

The goal is not the same if you use 4HWW to eliminate work, or to make more fun in your work

Thanks for the Mark Forster tip. I like him already.

I’d like to point out that GTD and 4HWW are incompatible methods–near opposites, in fact. GTD + 4HWW = null. Google “GTD vs. 4HWW” and “Procrastivity” for more. Even the 43 Folders creator is beginning to rethink his opinions on GTD.

Any thoughts on Fred Gratzon?

I’ve read it first time 18 months ago when I wazs definitly overwhelmed after 6months full time at home. It was a big liberation process that started.

Add a little of GTD, DIT and entrepreneur myth and you’re all set ;-)

Tim’s book is like my bible. I have only read it once so far, but it had completely changed my outlook on work, salary and entrepreneurship. I recommend it to everyone I know.

Unfortunately I missed the show, I’m going to see if I can catch in on Hulu.

I think his drive to learn new things in record time is something every entrepreneur should strive for in order to get their new businesses moving quicker.

Actually I have heard him recommend a book called “The Art of Learning” by, Josh Waitzkin. I haven’t read it yet, but I will be checking it out soon.

Caleb I had the exact same experience. Was very impressed with the uStream.tv event he did.

Felt like I was witnessing the future of tv promotions!

I would love to do something like this in the near future. The guys at 37Signals did a similar one. Only thing I liked better about the 37Signals presentation was that the questions of other viewers were hidden and only the presenters could see it, so I think it reduced the amount of spamming. But overall I was very impressed with it. Felt like you were in the same room with Tim.
