Another great similar tip:
Always listen closely to what people are saying. If you ever hear them say “I wish…” that’s an indicator that they need a problem solved.
I wish there was a way to…
I wish it was easier to…
etc.

This is very true. There is a great product I’m working on for the hair industry. This will definitely solve a lot of problems. I just text a few people to send me at least two problems they have and wished it could be solved.

That doesn’t look like spotting the idea but more like realising that all available domain names to do with the idea have already been taken:)

LOL! That is so true. Solving peoples basic everyday problems can lead to a big idea. Thanks for the reminder.
